Utagawa Kunisada (also known as Toyokuni III) was a prominent Japanese ukiyo-e artist, active in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. This is a hand-drawn, high-resolution print of the ancient Japanese sorcerer, Tenjiku Tokubei. He forms a magical gesture with his hands as he stands behind a giant, fire-breathing toad. The original wood-block print is by the great Ukiyo-e, Edo-Period master, Utagawa Kunisada.
