The Golem of Prague is a Jewish legend about a giant figure made from clay and brought to life by Rabbi Judah Loew, the Maharal of Prague. He created it to protect the Jews of Prague from violence. The golem is powerful and obedient at first, but it is not human.
As the story unfolds, the creature becomes dangerous, and the rabbi is forced to stop it by removing the sacred word ("Truth") from its forehead, returning it to clay. The legend endures because it is not just a monster tale, but a story about protection, power, and the danger of creating a force you cannot fully control.
