"Colorful Realm of Living Beings," is a series of 30 large-scale paintings by Itō Jakuchū (1716-1800) that depict a variety of birds, flowers, and animals in vivid detail. Among the paintings in this series is "Fish and Octopus," a stunning representation of aquatic life.

The original painting features a wide array of fish and other sea creatures, including octopuses, crabs, eels, and sea bream. "Fish and Octopus" is considered one of Jakuchū's masterpieces, and is held in the collection of the Kyoto National Museum in Japan. It continues to inspire and captivate viewers with its stunning beauty and intricate detail.

You'll receive a heavyweight, giclée, acid-free print that's created to last for generations. The museum-quality paper works perfectly with large, full-color images. The lightly-textured, matte finish captures fine lines and subtle colors, resulting in stunning works of art (without unwanted reflections). We've preserved elements of this art's ancient qualities in order to retain its richness and uniqueness.
