  • Before there could be ukiyo-e cats, there had to be cats in the first place. Kitties may be common in Japan today, but they're not natives. It's likely they came to Japan on Chinese ships 1000 years ago. They were mousers on the ships, and Japan was happy to employ the rodent-killers on farms. In temples, mousers kept mice from eating Buddhist scrolls.

You'll receive a heavyweight, giclée, acid-free print that's created to last for generations. The museum-quality paper works perfectly with large, full-color images. The lightly-textured, matte finish captures fine lines and subtle colors, resulting in stunning works of art.

    • Printed using eco-friendly, water-based inks
    • FSC approved or sustainably-sourced paper
    • Frame and matting isn't included. Print only.
    • Shipped in a damage-proof artwork tube.
    • Premium-quality (200gsm) giclée, acid-free paper
