This artwork portrays Nakasaina Sonja, an Arhat who has achieved enlightenment according to Buddhism, sitting on a rock while holding a bowl from which a dragon emerges.

This print represents one of the stories about the 16 Arhats, who are considered to be the most prominent and admirable individuals in Buddhism. These Arhats attained enlightenment and were able to break free from the cycle of rebirth and death. Nakasaina Sonja is depicted as one of the Arhats in the print, known for his ability to perform miracles and his power of healing.
