  • "Heroes of the Taiheiki" is a series of 19th-century woodblock prints created by Kuniyoshi Utagawa. It features characters from the "Taiheiki," an historical epic recounting the Japanese civil wars during the 14th and 15th centuries.

"Heroes of the Taiheiki" was produced over many years and includes over 50 prints, each featuring a different samurai warrior or hero from the epic. Kuniyoshi's ability to capture the essence of each character in his prints helped make him one of the most popular and influential ukiyo-e artists of the Edo period.

You'll receive a heavyweight, giclée, acid-free print that's created to last for generations. The museum-quality paper works perfectly with large, full-color images.
