Guru Dragpur, also known as Dorje Drolo in Tibetan, is a powerful and wrathful form of the great master Padmasambhava, who is considered to be the second buddha in Tibetan Buddhism. He is known as a fierce protector of the Dharma, the teachings of the Buddha, and as a destroyer of obstacles on the path to enlightenment.
He is depicted as a fierce and powerful figure, holding a black vajra scepter in his right hand, which symbolizes the indestructible and unchanging nature of the ultimate reality, and a nine-headed black scorpion in his left hand, which represents the power to overcome obstacles and negative forces. He wears a garland of heads, symbolizing the vanquishing of the ego and the attainment of buddhahood, and an elephant skin draped across his shoulders, which represents the power of discrimination and the ability to see through illusions.

Perfect!
The usual very high quality from this shop, very ingenious design with the hanger using very strong magnets.
Beautiful thangka, well packaged and exactly as pictured/described. One thing to note: this Etsy shop is located in the US but my item actually shipped from Germany, so it took a lot longer to arrive than it otherwise would have. Worked out okay for me but may be worth considering/inquiring about before you make a purchase.
