Guru Dragpur is a powerful and revered figure in Tibetan Buddhism, and is often depicted in wrathful form as a fierce protector of the Dharma and a destroyer of obstacles on the path to enlightenment. According to tradition, Guru Dragpur has the ability to overcome any obstacle or hindrance that stands in the way of an individual's spiritual growth and development.

In Tibetan Buddhist art, Guru Dragpur is often depicted holding a black vajra scepter in his right hand and a nine-headed black scorpion in his left hand. He is also often depicted wearing a garland of heads and an elephant skin draped across his shoulders, symbolizing his power and strength. He is often surrounded by the orange flames of pristine awareness, which symbolize his connection to the divine and his ability to guide individuals along the path to enlightenment.
